Emerald Shape Semi-Mount Halo Diamond Engagement Ring

Built for a larger emerald cut, this semi-mount halo engagement ring leaves its center seat open for a stone of 3.65 Ctw to 4.50 Ctw. Through the mounting, 54 round cut diamonds are prong set, framing the rectangular center in a close halo and then running down the shoulders in a graduated line toward the back of the band. The open prong work keeps each stone clear on every side, so the frame reads as a continuous bright edge. Stepping up both the center range and the side stone count keeps this mounting in proportion with the rest of its family, so the halo never looks thin around a larger stone. Consistency across a range is harder than it appears. Crafted in 14 karat white gold with a rhodium finish that keeps the metal cool and reflective, it closes with a total weight of 3/4 Ctw.
