Round Shape Semi-Mount Halo Diamond Engagement Ring

Generously proportioned, this round shape semi-mount halo engagement ring holds its center seat open for a stone of 4.50 Ctw to 5.50 Ctw. Through the mounting, 55 round cut diamonds are prong set, ringing the center completely before flowing into the shoulders in a graduated run toward the back of the band. The open prong work lets light reach every stone from all directions, keeping the halo bright rather than heavy. At this size the center will sit high enough to be seen in profile, so the halo and shoulders are drawn to look considered from the side as well as from above. A ring is viewed from every angle but its own. Crafted in 14 karat white gold and given a rhodium finish that lends the metal a clean, even clarity, it is finished with a total weight of 3/4 Ctw.
