Drawn for a substantial emerald cut, this semi-mount engagement ring keeps its center open for a stone of 4.50 Ctw to 5.50 Ctw. Through the shoulders and gallery, 24 round cut diamonds are prong set in even succession, each left clear on every side so the line of brilliance stays continuous where the band narrows. A center this size needs a mounting confident enough to balance it and restrained enough to stay out of its way. Rose gold has become a genuine alternative rather than a novelty, and set against white it gives an engagement ring warmth without losing the brightness a large diamond needs around it. Crafted in 14 karat rose and white gold with a rhodium finish over the white gold, the ring is finished with a total weight of 1/6 Ctw.
