The center seat is drawn for a stone of 3.65 Ctw to 4.50 Ctw. Leaving that metal visible keeps the band slender and the center unmistakably the focus. Spacing stones more widely changes the character of a band entirely, letting it read as considered rather than covered, and not every design benefits from density. Yellow and white gold are worked together through the 14 karat mounting, with a rhodium finish over the white gold, and it arrives with a total weight of 1/10 Ctw.
